5 1/2 months have passed since I wrote appealing to friends and family for my sister, Angela and her husband, David. And 5 1/2 months later, here we sit- Angela, David, my mom, and myself, in their temporary home in Boston, the night before her surgery.
There are so many things to think about, but I am SO grateful for the outpouring of prayer and financial support. I'm so grateful that money isn't one of the things to think about. I'm so grateful for the people who love and care for them! I said in the other blogpost that we were never met to carry these circumstances on our own, and wow! you responded. You came through!
Thank you for showing my sister and my whole family that we are not alone. Thank you to everyone who gave, who attended fundraisers, who organized the fundraisers, who donated items, who took the time to care. I don't think we could ever say thank you enough.
My prayer is that you share in the joy of the future with Angela, as you have shared in the not-so-fun part of her life as well. And may you know that you are not alone, you are loved and cared for as well.
Lots of love,
